Next Generation Node B, the 5G NR base station.
Multiple-Input Multiple-Output, a method for multiplying the capacity of a radio link using multiple transmission and receiving antennas.
Millimeter Wave, extremely high-frequency radio waves in the 30 GHz to 300 GHz range used in 5G for high-speed data transmission.
Network Function Virtualization, a network architecture concept that uses virtualization technologies to manage core networking functions.
Software-Defined Networking, an approach to network management that enables dynamic, programmatically efficient network configuration.
Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication, a 5G service category aimed at mission critical applications requiring very low latency and high reliability.
Vehicle-to-Everything, a technology that allows vehicles to communicate with moving parts of the traffic system around them.
